Beauty filters and earlier aging edits also alter the starting point, so a lightly processed original is a better reference. Check that you have permission for the particular portrait, then choose an increment and consent before generation. If you replace the photo, confirm permission again. These steps make the source clearer and the processing intentional; they cannot guarantee that a model will produce an accurate likeness on every attempt.

Our controls ask for approximately 10, 20, 30 or 40 additional years relative to the appearance in the uploaded photo. They do not estimate the subject’s current age or set a fixed target birthday. That distinction also applies to an older adult: every option requests further aging, without asking the model to make the person younger. Begin with +10 when you want to compare modest changes, or choose a larger increment for a more pronounced creative interpretation. One click produces one image, with the site-credit cost visible before submission. The picture cannot demonstrate that exactly twenty years have been added, and a new generation can give a different interpretation of the same instruction. Treat the settings as a way to guide the illustration rather than as a numerical forecast about a specific person.
Check Likeness Before You Share
Compare the original and result while they are still available in your account. Start with the eyes, nose, mouth and overall facial proportions, then look at the skin texture and hair changes. A portrait with many wrinkles may still be a weak result if those distinctive features have changed. Watch for invented accessories, uneven eyes, altered expressions or other details that do not belong to the source. The preview may be interesting even when it is imperfect, but it should not be presented as evidence of someone’s real future. The display and downloaded image include an AI-generated label to help people understand what they are seeing. Keep that label visible when sharing, obtain permission from anyone depicted and avoid using the portrait to mislead, ridicule or impersonate them.
Save the Preview Within Its Access Window
Age Filter is designed for short-lived experiments rather than a permanent portrait archive. Input photos and generated previews in our storage enter the cleanup queue after 23 hours, with retries when deletion fails. The application stops serving them 24 hours after upload. Download a labeled copy if you want to keep it; refreshing the page can resume your most recent task in the same browser, and recent completed simulations can be opened while they remain accessible. The AI inference itself is performed by an external processor, whose own data practices must be considered separately from our storage controls. Account and credit records also have different purposes and are not described as photos. The privacy policy explains those distinctions. Reviewing the processing terms first is especially useful when the source portrait is sensitive or belongs to another consenting adult.
What Is AI Age Progression?
AI age progression is an image-editing simulation that adds signs commonly associated with aging, such as wrinkles, gray hair and changes in skin texture. Our tool asks an image-to-image model to retain the person’s identity, expression and composition while making them older relative to the input. It does not know their future health, lifestyle or appearance. A convincing picture is still an artistic result, and different generations can vary.

What Will You Look Like When You're Older?
An aging preview can help you explore how familiar features might look with additional years. It cannot give a reliable answer to what you will actually look like. Genetics, health, sun exposure and personal choices are not inferred from one portrait. Compare the output carefully with your input, especially distinctive features such as the eyes, nose and facial proportions, and treat any identity drift as a limitation.
